Restart a Heart Campaign 16th October 2023
In 2018 we were excited to be supporting the Resuscitation Council (UK), Yorkshire Ambulance Service and The British Heart foundation in their Restart a Heart campaign for 2018.
‘Out of hospital’ cardiac arrests account for roughly 75,000 deaths in the UK every year and the survival rate is only around 10% in the UK where as the survival rate in Holland is around 21% and Norway is around 25%. However, if more people in the UK were trained in CPR and AED, between us, we could strengthen the links to the chain of survival, which in turn would improve the survival rates in the UK.
Working alongside BBC Hereford and Worcester, we offered free AED workshops within Worcestershire between 15th-19th October 2018.
It gives us great pleasure to be able to offer Restart a heart courses again this year in 2023, we will be training these sessions on 16th October 2023.
